Assam police have apprehended a man identified as Yash Agarwal following allegations that he stole 50 lakh rupees from his father. According to law enforcement officials, the investigation into the theft initially pointed toward an inside job, leading investigators to involve the cyber security cell to track the suspect's movements.

Following the alleged theft, Agarwal reportedly left his home in Jorhat. Police utilized digital tracking methods to monitor his cellphone, which eventually led them to locate him in Ahmedabad. Authorities allege that the stolen funds were used to purchase luxury items, including an iPhone, and to cover expenses related to his girlfriend. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to process the evidence gathered during the recovery of the suspect.
