Biplob Soren, a 32-year-old Bangladeshi citizen, was taken into custody by Kerala police following the discovery that he had been working at the Indian Naval Academy in Ezhimala. Soren had reportedly been employed as a contract worker within the academy’s laundry department for a period of time before his true identity was uncovered.

According to reports, Soren gained access to the high-security military installation by presenting forged Indian identification documents. The incident has prompted an internal security review at the academy to determine how the vetting process failed to identify his citizenship status.
