Boox has provided additional details regarding its upcoming Picco e-reader following an initial teaser in July. The device, which is positioned as a competitor to the Xteink X4, is expected to reach the market in November. The Picco features a 3.97-inch e-paper touchscreen, a design choice that distinguishes it from the Xteink X4 Pro. Unlike the Xteink series, the Picco does not include rear magnets for phone attachment. The device is equipped with physical page-turn buttons, which users can configure to perform different functions based on short or long presses. Reports indicate that the device may lack onboard storage, though full technical specifications have not yet been finalized or released by the manufacturer.
