Anti-fascist campaigners have identified at least five Reform UK councillors who were members of the 'Northeast Patriots' Facebook group. This group is reportedly linked to the Patriot Platform, an organization known for orchestrating blockades in Dover and Portsmouth involving masked individuals. The councillors involved include two representatives from Solihull, two from Gateshead, and one from Kent.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has publicly condemned the activities of the Patriot Platform, and the party is reportedly managing internal friction regarding its stance on the group. Following inquiries from The Guardian, two of the identified councillors have since left the Facebook group. The report highlights ongoing scrutiny regarding the vetting processes and ideological associations of local representatives within the party. While the party has distanced itself from the far-right group, the presence of its elected officials in such online spaces has drawn attention to the challenges Reform UK faces in maintaining party discipline and ideological consistency among its local council members.
