The World Grand Prix in Leicester saw significant progression in the tournament bracket as Gerwyn Price secured his spot in the next round. Price defeated Ross Smith in a straight-sets victory, which sets up an upcoming all-Welsh quarter-final match against Jonny Clayton.

In addition to the Price-Clayton development, other players also advanced during the recent round of matches. Both Ryan Joyce and Nathan Aspinall successfully navigated their respective contests to move forward in the competition. The tournament continues to narrow down the field as players compete for the title in Leicester. While the focus of the recent reports centered on the progression of these specific athletes, the event remains ongoing with further matches scheduled to determine the semi-finalists.
