Google has reached a settlement agreement to resolve a class-action lawsuit filed by UK app developers, agreeing to pay a total of $353 million. The lawsuit, which was brought on behalf of approximately 1,600 developers, alleged that Google abused its dominant market position by forcing developers to use its proprietary billing system and charging high commission fees for in-app purchases.
