The Hong Kong government has announced plans to initiate the redevelopment of the Victoria Park Tennis Centre in Causeway Bay. Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Rossana Law Shuk-pui confirmed on Saturday that the city is currently in the process of conducting feasibility studies for the project. The stated goal of the redevelopment is to modernize the facility to accommodate higher-tier tennis tournaments and transform the site into a multipurpose venue for the public.

While the government hopes to begin the redevelopment process within the current five-year plan, a specific completion date has not yet been established. Officials have indicated that the timeline for finishing the project remains under review, as they determine whether the construction can be finalized within the current planning cycle or if it will extend beyond that period.
