Hong Kong police are currently investigating a potential voyeurism case following the discovery of surveillance equipment at a 24/7 Fitness branch located on Lek Yuen Street in Sha Tin. The investigation began on Friday, October 25, after law enforcement received a report at 5:11 p.m. regarding a suspicious device.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers conducted a search of the facility's changing rooms. During this inspection, they located three suspected pinhole cameras that had been affixed to the false ceilings using black tape. While the police have confirmed the discovery and the initiation of a formal investigation, they have not yet released information regarding potential suspects or the duration for which the devices may have been active. The gym management has been cooperating with the authorities as the investigation continues to determine who placed the devices and whether any footage was captured or transmitted.
