At the Semicon India conference in New Delhi, Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw provided an update on the nation’s efforts to establish a domestic semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. The government has been actively courting global chipmakers and domestic firms to set up fabrication plants and assembly units as part of the 'India Semiconductor Mission.'
