A 20-year-old woman from Assam, who had traveled to Visakhapatnam as part of a dance troupe, was discovered dead beside a railway track in the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh. The discovery occurred days after the woman was reported missing while traveling back home from a performance.

According to reports, the woman had sent a final text message to someone stating, "Lot of men around me," shortly before she disappeared. While the exact timeline of her disappearance remains under investigation, family members have confirmed that she was in the region for professional dance engagements and was in the process of returning to Assam when the incident occurred. Local authorities have recovered the body and are working to piece together the events leading up to her death.
