According to diplomatic sources cited by Al Jazeera, the U.S. delegation is using these talks to push for the disarmament of Hamas, aiming to remove the group from any future role in governing Gaza. Conversely, Hamas has publicly framed the meetings as an opportunity to pressure Israel.
