As the Bahrain Grand Prix approaches, Lewis Hamilton has addressed the prospect of racing against Max Verstappen, who secured pole position. Hamilton, starting from the front row, described the potential for a close battle as "awesome," highlighting his desire to remain competitive throughout the race.

Despite the excitement surrounding a potential duel, Hamilton stressed the importance of his team maintaining a disciplined approach. He noted that the team needs to concentrate on their own race strategy rather than becoming overly preoccupied with the performance of others. The upcoming event is expected to be physically and technically demanding, with Hamilton acknowledging the challenges inherent in the circuit. While the focus remains on team execution, the prospect of a direct fight with Verstappen remains a key point of interest for the driver as he prepares for the start.
