Consultant and lobbyist Jeremy Greenwood appeared before the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) on Monday as part of the ongoing Operation Rosny inquiry. The commission is currently investigating allegations that conservative Liberal figures may have solicited or accepted illegal political donations.

During his testimony, the 37-year-old lobbyist explicitly denied being a member of the conservative factional group central to the investigation. Greenwood challenged the commission’s premise, stating there is not a “shred of evidence” to support the claim that he was involved with the group. He further testified that he had advised members of the faction to cease their activities after the group’s internal culture became “toxic.”

Operation Rosny is examining whether specific Liberal Party figures acted improperly in their fundraising efforts. While Greenwood is named in two of the commission’s allegations, his testimony serves as a direct rebuttal to the investigators' current line of questioning regarding his role in the factional dynamics of the party. The inquiry is ongoing, and the commission has yet to issue findings regarding the validity of the allegations against Greenwood or the other figures involved.
