Manchester City has reached an agreement to loan Omar Marmoush to Tottenham Hotspur for the duration of the season. The transfer structure includes an obligation for Tottenham to purchase the 27-year-old forward for an initial fee of £50 million. Beyond the base fee, the deal includes up to £10 million in potential add-ons, with half of that amount guaranteed.

Upon the completion of the permanent transfer next summer, Marmoush is expected to sign a four-year contract with Tottenham, which includes an option for an additional year. The player is currently scheduled to undergo a medical examination with the London club.

This move follows a recent trend of player movement between the two clubs, as Marmoush joins fellow former City player Sávio in moving to Tottenham. Regarding the financial terms of the original acquisition, reports indicate that Manchester City is not required to pay a sell-on fee to Eintracht Frankfurt, the club from which they originally purchased the Egyptian international in January 2025. Concurrent with this deal, Manchester City has also finalized the sale of Nico González to Newcastle United for a reported fee of £52 million.
