Simultaneously, the campaign has seen a notable endorsement from Sander Levin, a 95-year-old former Democratic congressman who served for over three decades. Levin’s support for El-Sayed is framed as a pragmatic political alliance, as Levin explicitly acknowledged that he and the candidate hold different views on Israel. This endorsement has drawn attention due to El-Sayed’s past refusal to endorse a two-state solution, a position that has caused concern among some members of the local Jewish community.

While The Hill focuses primarily on the statistical dead heat between the two candidates, the Times of Israel emphasizes the internal friction within the Democratic base regarding El-Sayed's foreign policy positions.
