While FMT is already used to treat certain severe bacterial infections, its application for food allergies is a newer area of clinical investigation. The study aims to determine if rebalancing gut bacteria can effectively 'retrain' the immune system to stop overreacting to peanut proteins.

Medical experts emphasize that this is an experimental approach and not a home remedy. The capsules are manufactured in controlled laboratory settings to ensure they are free from pathogens and contain the necessary microbial diversity.
