Ollie Leatherbarrow, a back row player for the Newcastle Falcons, has received his first call-up to the Scotland national rugby union team. The announcement confirms his inclusion in the squad for the upcoming Nations Championship series.

During this tournament, Scotland is scheduled to face New Zealand, Australia, and Japan. Leatherbarrow, who has not previously played at the senior international level for Scotland, will now have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the match-day lineups against these high-profile opponents. The selection marks a significant milestone in the young player's professional career as he transitions into the international rugby environment.
