Nvidia has officially backed Simplismart, a Bengaluru-based startup focused on AI infrastructure. Simplismart’s core technology is designed to assist businesses in deploying and running AI models while requiring fewer graphics processing units (GPUs). By optimizing how these models operate, the company aims to reduce the hardware demands typically associated with high-end AI development.

According to the company, Simplismart has experienced rapid financial expansion, reporting a 14-fold increase in its annualized revenue run rate over the last six months. The startup has also noted a shift in its market reach, with the United States now accounting for more than half of its total revenue. This investment highlights Nvidia’s ongoing strategy of supporting the broader AI ecosystem, particularly companies that focus on making AI deployment more accessible and cost-effective for enterprise clients.

While the specific financial terms of the investment were not disclosed, the partnership signals a growing interest in Indian AI startups that provide specialized software solutions to complement hardware-intensive AI workflows.
