According to Police Chief William Nord, authorities identified a red Acura RDX registered to the suspect, identified as Paporakis, entering a temple parking lot on Sunday at approximately 12:25 p.m. The vehicle remained on the premises for less than 15 minutes before departing.

The investigation was prompted by statements the teenager reportedly made to a co-worker. While specific details regarding the nature of the conversation remain under review by law enforcement, reports indicate the teen discussed a "kill Indians" plot. The suspect allegedly attributed his failure to carry out the act to divine intervention, claiming he was "saved by God."
