Rahul Bhatt recently opened up about a past violent encounter with actor Ranvir Shorey, characterizing his own response to the situation as an overreaction. The altercation reportedly took place after Shorey allegedly hit Bhatt's sister, actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt.

In his account of the event, Bhatt admitted to losing his temper and escalating the situation physically. He stated that he broke Shorey’s ribs and also damaged the glass of Shorey’s car during the confrontation. Reflecting on the incident years later, Bhatt expressed remorse for the intensity of his actions, suggesting that he handled the situation poorly at the time.
