Ratko Mladić, the former Bosnian Serb military commander, has died in a prison facility in The Hague. Mladić was serving a life sentence handed down by the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals for his role in the 1995 Srebrenica genocide, the siege of Sarajevo, and other war crimes committed during the Bosnian War of the 1990s.
