Teo suggested that rather than competing for a static pool of resources, the two cities should focus on 'expanding the pie' as capital continues to flow into the Asian region. He noted that both hubs possess unique strengths and that there is a mutual admiration for each other’s developmental accomplishments. By fostering greater cooperation, Teo believes both cities can benefit from the region's growth rather than viewing one another as enemies.
