Sony has officially announced the Bravia 6 OLED TV, following earlier reports of the model appearing on a company compatibility chart. This new addition to Sony’s television lineup is positioned as a more accessible option, sitting below the premium Bravia 8 and Bravia 9 series in the company's hierarchy.

The Bravia 6 OLED will be available in five different sizes, ranging from 48 inches to 83 inches. In terms of technical specifications, the television features a 120Hz panel and includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, a feature often sought after by gamers and users with multiple high-bandwidth devices. The TV runs on the Google TV operating system, which now integrates Gemini AI features. Additionally, the unit supports high-end audio and visual standards, including Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X.

Sony is positioning this model to compete directly with established midrange OLED products, specifically the LG C6 OLED and the Samsung S90H QD-OLED. While the release aims to capture a broader segment of the market that previously found Sony’s OLED offerings too expensive, the company has not yet provided a specific retail price or a firm release date beyond the official announcement.
