Sony Music and Warner Chappell have initiated a lawsuit against the artificial intelligence company Anthropic in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The music publishers allege that Anthropic’s AI models have been trained on and reproduce their copyrighted song lyrics without permission.
