According to the findings, approximately 40% of young Jewish adults report that they are becoming less engaged in events and issues that affect the Jewish population. Researchers suggest that the ongoing discourse surrounding Israel is a significant factor contributing to this withdrawal from communal life.

Despite this reported decline in engagement with broader communal events, the study also provides data suggesting that Jewish identity remains a consistent part of daily life for many. Three-quarters of the survey respondents indicated that they still regularly participate in Jewish activities or maintain Jewish practices in their personal lives. This suggests a potential disconnect between how young people define their individual Jewish identity and how they interact with organized Jewish institutions or public discourse.

The data underscores a complex landscape for Jewish organizations, which are currently navigating the impact of geopolitical tensions on their demographic base.
