Authorities in Surat, India, have arrested a man accused of kidnapping the father of a woman who had reportedly ceased communication with him. According to police statements, the incident occurred following a period of tension between the suspect and the woman.

During initial interrogations, the suspect provided insight into the motive behind the abduction. He claimed that the businessman's daughter had allegedly verbally abused another female friend of his during a phone conversation. This confrontation appears to be the primary catalyst for the suspect's decision to target the woman's father. The police are currently investigating the circumstances of the abduction to determine the full sequence of events and whether other individuals were involved in the planning or execution of the crime. The suspect remains in custody as the legal process continues.
