The company, which provides ingredients and finished food products to brands including Walmart, Target, Chipotle, and Taco Bell, is the subject of ongoing FDA investigations regarding multiple pathogen outbreaks.

The current situation centers on a salmonella outbreak linked to finished food products containing jalapeños. According to the FDA, there are 345 confirmed cases of salmonella associated with this specific contamination, with 36 individuals requiring hospitalization. As a result of these findings, Taylor Farms has initiated product recalls to mitigate further health risks to consumers.
