According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, Israeli warplanes conducted strikes near the Ali al-Taher ridge in Nabatieh province, as well as near the towns of Deir Siryan, Kafr Rumman, and the al-Mansouri area. These strikes occurred in rapid succession, targeting positions overlooking the border between southern Lebanon and northern Israel.

Simultaneously, diplomatic relations between Israel and Turkey have deteriorated significantly. Turkey has emerged as a vocal critic of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, which began after the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack. The rhetoric between the two nations has intensified, with Turkish leadership employing strong language, including accusations of 'genocide' and labeling Israeli leadership as 'dictators.'
