The murder trial of Hong Kong socialite Abby Choi Tin-fung has brought new financial details to light regarding her relationship with her ex-husband, Alex Kwong Kong-chi. On Thursday, Chan Leong-hang, an employee at Aristo Watch & Jewellery in Tsim Sha Tsui, testified that Kwong frequently sold luxury timepieces to the shop. According to Chan, Kwong instructed the business to transfer a portion of the proceeds from these sales directly to Choi’s bank account.

Chan stated that the company processed a transfer of HK$6 million (approximately US$764,580) to Choi’s account following these transactions. The testimony serves as part of the ongoing legal proceedings surrounding the high-profile case. While the court is currently focused on the circumstances of the murder, this evidence highlights the financial entanglement between the victim and the accused.
