Saudi Arabian civil defense officials confirmed that two individuals sustained injuries following a projectile attack in the Al-Tuwal Governorate, located in the Jazan region near the border with Yemen. The incident occurred shortly after Saudi authorities issued public alerts regarding the potential for cross-border attacks.

According to the official statement from the civil defense directorate, the projectile caused significant material damage in addition to the human casualties. Reports indicate that a mosque, several residential or commercial buildings, and a number of vehicles were damaged during the strike. The Saudi government has attributed the attack to Houthi forces operating out of Yemen.

While the Saudi authorities have characterized the incident as a deliberate act of aggression, the Houthi movement has not yet issued a formal statement regarding this specific strike.
