Two people died early Tuesday morning after inhaling toxic chemicals inside a public toilet located near the Parsi Panchayat Gate, close to the Mrunaltai Bridge in the Ram Mandir East area of Mumbai. The incident was confirmed by officials from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

While the identities of the victims have not been publicly released, the BMC has initiated an inquiry into how toxic substances were present in a public facility. Emergency services were called to the scene in the early hours, but the victims could not be resuscitated. Authorities are currently working to determine the origin of the chemicals and whether the facility was being used for unauthorized purposes or if there was a failure in maintenance protocols. As of now, no official statement has been released regarding potential negligence or criminal liability, and the investigation remains ongoing.
