A local prosecutor in Virginia has launched an official review of a confrontation between an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent and a local woman. The incident, which took place in a parking lot, escalated when the agent drew and pointed their service weapon at the woman.

The core of the dispute involves conflicting accounts of the moments leading up to the weapon being drawn. According to the ICE agent, the woman operated her vehicle in a manner that threatened the agent's safety, effectively accusing her of attempting to run them over. Conversely, the woman involved has publicly denied these allegations, maintaining that she did not attempt to strike the agent with her car.

Because the investigation is ongoing, the prosecutor's office has not yet released findings regarding whether the agent's use of force was justified or if the woman’s actions constituted a threat.
